Novagem Ltd and Astellas have entered into a partnership for the promotion and distribution of Astellas’ products portfolio in Cyprus.

Astellas Pharma Inc., based in Tokyo, Japan, was established in Apr. 1, 2005, after the merger of the mother companies Yamanouchi (founded in 1923 in Osaka, Japan) and Fujisawa (founded in 1894 in Osaka, Japan).

In Europe, Astellas Pharma Europe Ltd. operates in 37 countries, speaking 23 main languages and has 3.500 employees. The headquarters are based in the UK, and support the affiliate teams across Europe, Australia, and Canada, working in collaboration with the Manufacturing and Medical & Development sites in Ireland and the Netherlands.

Astellas invests in new medicines, technologies and therapeutic areas to stay at the cutting-edge of science and builds partnerships and networks with others who share its vision to improve the future of medicine.

Novagem and the Cyprus Medical Association join forces in the fight against the COVID19 pandemic. In the context of its corporate social responsibility Novagem donated to the Cyprus Medical Association in order to support its effort to provide protective equipment to Healthcare Professionals.

Furthermore, Novagem responded to a need raised by Healthcare Professionals for dry and irritated skin, due to the regular use of antiseptics, by donating Bepanthol creams.

Novagem implemented the Veeva, a cloud-based CRM, which is built on the salesforce platform, designed specifically for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The Novagem Veeva CRM utilizes an internal database of Healthcare Professionals who are updated for important development of interest to them.

The implementation was achieved through a collaboration with Aqurance which is based in Athens.

Novagem in collaboration with Ernst and Young designed and implemented procedures and systems which are compliant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) legal requirements.

All Novagem employees have been trained on the proper handling of personal information.
